Both will gain many more mods as the days go on, but if you have a choice between the two versions, I’d suggest going with Xbox One-no shade, but that platform Xbox One more so than PlayStation 4.

Do play Vanilla first then do mods but a few mods that I use on the Xbox one are: Beards of Power, Enhanced Blood Textures, Improved Blood Splatter, Better Skyrim Civil War Armor (Or something like that), Unofficial Skyrim Patches, Immersive NPCs, Open Civil War, and a few other I can't remember. Dozens if not hundreds of mods are simply fixing bugs or other issues - the most well-known such mod being the unofficial patch that IMO no PC player should play without. and the achievement "Golden Touch" for having 10,000 gold popped. The user mentioned that the mod does disable achievements, but later added that there is a way to keep this from happening.
