I changed my main character into a toddler just to see what happens, everything goes back to base values and then I couldn't hit undo or anything. I think it's more for letting you start the sim over again with traits and stuff without having to re-create the sim from scratch. Click on the Sim then MCCC and select Sim Commands and then Set Age. MCCC let's you set them to any age you want, but it resets everything, the face, the clothes, the aspirations. I'm so happy there's a way to control the ages. Meanwhile, I put his teen sister at 8 days into her age. I was able to take my teen sim who was 3 days from aging up and restart him down to 0 days into his age. Although you can't edit sims in bulk like you could in the Sims 3 and you have to go to each individual sim you want to change the age progress for, it works. weeks because I'm too lazy to go and age up all the teens, children, toddlers, young adults, adults, babies, and kill some elders.Įdit: For anyone stumbling in here looking for the same thing, there is a way to control ages in days. I've been playing with the same group of YAs for. It's tedious, so I find myself not aging them. And you can't CAS a baby, so I have to go to each household with a baby and age them myself. But that's tiring, because elders don't die. So, when I feel like aging them up, I'll manually change the age of everyone that's in the last stage of whatever age they are. Is there a way for me to do that with the Sims 4? For right now, I have aging turned off and have categorized all 200+ of my sims into groups in another document.
It was laggy during birthday-day because every sim that was aging into a different age would age on the same day, but I loved having that control. Then, after babies aged into toddlers, I would allow sims to get pregnant randomly, and thus a new group is born. Like, all lifespans were a multiple of 8: so babies would be 8 days, toddlers and children 16 days, teens 32 days, etc etc, and every 8th day would be a birthday. For example, in the Sims 3 with Master Controller, I had all sims age up according to their group. I'm not talking about going into CAS or using some other mod to change the age, I'm talking about the specific age in days to control when a sims ages up.
